In short - William Morris

May 25th, 2019

Diverse works by the British designer William Morris (1834-1896) will be on display at the exhibit Let Beauty Rule! at Reykjavík Art Museum, Kjarvalsstaðir, 29 June to 6 October 2019.

Morris, who visited Iceland twice, left a unique visual and cultural heritage, and his ideology regarding self-sustainability and the importance of craftsmanship is in perfect harmony with that of today’s designers.
