In short - Human bones

Torfi Fannar Gunnarsson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine art from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 2012. In 2018 he exhibited his first fashion collection Human Bones at the Museum of Design and Applied Art, where he machine knitted garments and accessories in front of museum guests.
A product of Torfi’s introspective journey, Human Bones touches on his ties to black magic; South American medicinal plants; the Wild, Wild West; and Asian imagery.
