With her projects, she hopes to bring societal change and open up a platform for discussion and debate.
The project Shape.Repeat is a dialog about how we manufacture clothes. Instead of cutting out patterns and sewing, natural liquid material is molded into a two-dimensional shape.
A Square to Reflect is a mirroring artwork that serves both the role of a public resting place, a gate into the heart of Reykjavík, and as an installation.
Designed in collaboration with Arnar Ingi Viðarsson.
Just Bones focuses on developing a strong, natural material from animal bones. The bones are ground and their various qualities are used to develop and create a material that is similar in strength to MDF.
Bioplastic Skin is a biodegradable packaging for meat made out of the skin of the animal itself.
