Creative Director Ferdinando Verderi joins the lineup for DesignTalks 2025

February 13th, 2025

A creative director responsible for some of the most radical fashion imagery of the past half decade, Ferdinando Verderi has been pioneering methods of redirecting editorial and advertising moments into an investigation towards new forms of messaging and many of his experimental concepts are recognised as industry firsts.

DesignTalks takes place on the 2nd of April in Harpa, Reykjavik with the theme of the Source.

Verderi is most known for his continued partnership with Prada, his tenure at Vogue Italia, and masterminding of the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration, but he has led global creative and strategic direction on brands that range from Google to Diet Coke, and partnered with brands including Chanel, Versace, Adidas Originals and Alexander Wang, often tasked with the complete re-positioning of the house’s voice and image. His work with Adidas, created with his team at creative agency Johannes Leonardo, coincided with unprecedented company growth and is widely praised. Fernando has been awarded with some of the highest honors in the creative industry, including the Grand Prix at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, D&AD and Grand Clio Awards, where he was the most awarded creative in the fashion and beauty prestige category for two seasons running.

“Listening to Ferdinando is such a candy to the creative mind and his concept driven work in advertising speaks to a wide audience for a multitude of reasons, both explicitly and subconsciously. It’s going to be exhilarating to get insights into his source.” - Hlín Helga, listrænn stjórnandi DesignTalks
