In short - Akureyri Art Museum

May 25th, 2018

The Akureyri Art Museum recently opened following a large-scale renovation. The project was in the hands of Kurt og Pí Architects, who tried to bring out the history of the building, which originally housed the dairy Mjólkursamlag KEA.

Changes include a completely new exhibition hall, a new entrance, an enclosed walkway to Ketilhús, and a new main staircase, café and gift shop.
