The bar Miami opened in August 2018 on Hverfisgata in Reykjavík. Miami is inspired by the environment and atmosphere of the eponymous city during the 1980s.

Design studio DÖÐLUR gets credit for the overall aesthetic and interior design. They have previously been recognized for their work on the design of Oddsson hotel and for their Döðlur by Döðlur clothing line, which is available at Akkúrat.
