Dennis completed his MArch at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. He runs the firm ARKHD-Hjördís & Dennis with Hjördís Sigurgísladóttir. They have won awards, including the Iceland Ambassador's Residence in Berlin, an annex to Laugarnes-school in Reykjavik and a garden house in the International Exhibition "Kolonihaven The International Challenge". They are the authors of a book in 2021 about the influence from the British Isles on Icelandic architecture.
