Þura Stína becomes Director of DesignMarch

Þura Stína Kristleifsdóttir has been appointed Director of DesignMarch. She will lead the development and delivery of DesignMarch in collaboration with Klara Rún Ragnarsdóttir, Programme Director of the festival, and the team at Iceland Design and Architecture. Þura Stína will also contribute to a range of Iceland Design and Architecture projects in Iceland and internationally.

Þura Stína is a graphic designer, producer and artistic director. She holds a BA in Graphic Design from Iceland University of the Arts and an MA in Visual Design and Integrated Marketing Communication from NABA in Milan. Since 2016, she has worked independently across design, directing, production and artistic direction, and has also worked as a graphic designer at the advertising agency Brandenburg and as part of Nova’s marketing team.

Þura Stína has worked with DesignMarch in a variety of roles, including as an experience designer, project manager and exhibitor. She has been the producer of the DesignTalks conference at Harpa since 2022.

Most recently, she served as Marketing and PR Manager for the Reykjavík Arts Festival, where she was responsible for the festival’s marketing and communications.
