DesignMarch 2022 - open for application

Participate in DesignMarch 2022 that takes place from 4th - 8th of May 2022 - open for application till 1st of November. Members of the design associations get a discount of the application fee till 1st of October. 

DesignMarch is Iceland's largest design festival and takes the opportunity to focus on design as a driving force for innovation, and demonstrate the important role of design, architecture and innovation in society.

Participation in the festival ensures coverage and visibility of projects/exhibitions, as a part of DesignMarch's promotional force that takes place before, during and after the festival for the media as well the general public. 

As a participant in DesignMarch, your project is part of the festival's diverse program, part of the festival´s promotional material, guided tours etc.

DesignMarch has been held annually since 2009 and this is the 14th time it has been held. It is one of the largest promotional project for design and architecture in Iceland and abroad. DesignMarch is organized by the centre of Iceland design and architecture and the festival director is Þórey Einarsdóttir. 

DesignMarch brings together participants and guests with progressive design and innovation. The festival heralds new and surprising approaches and is a vibrant platform for ideas, diverse perspectives and knowledge driving force that enriches and enhances society.
